Yet another fantastic Night out with Round Table! This time at the Founding Tables Ladies Night held at Brasteds near Norwich.
Excellent party with great company and we raised over £1,000 for the Big C!
Well done Ian Johnson for a successful night

Last week saw an interesting evening (which is not very often) with Dereham Round Table. It was their Annual Dinner and was held at the Lodge in North Tuddenham.
The guest speaker was Jim Bacon of Weatherquest (BBC Weatherman), who was very entertaining even though he did tend to veer off to the left on occasion (weather joke). Dereham Round Table presented Jim with a cheque for £250 for Quidenham Hospice.
On the 16 February I, along with the Area President and Area Vice Chairman attended Harlestons 45th Charter Night at the The Fox & Goose in Fressingfield. Although Harelston are not the largest Table in the Area the night was well attended and the guest speaker (National President) John Payne seemed to find the Master At Arm Amusing!
John presented the customary number plate to the Harleston Chairman, Joel who after copious amounts of alcohol left the plate unattended. The plate is in a safe place and will be returned to Harleston at the Area AGM!
Excellent evening which was hosted well with the best beef wellington I have ever had!

A few Thursday ago I was joined in at The Stuart House Hotel, Kings Lynn by our Membership officer Andrew Kerry to attend Kings Lynn Vancouver’s Business meeting. Other than the lack of food the evening turned out to be one of the highlights of my year so far.
The guys in this table have worked hard over the preceding months and have attracted only what I could call a flange of typical Tablers into their group.
The quintet who were inducted during the evening provided interesting and varied renditions of My Heart Will Go On (a bit too much if you ask me), Never Going to Give You Up (subs up front please), Wannabe (I’d rather not), I Think We’re Alone Now (nope the reception is full of the laughing public), Baby One More Time (if you insist).
It was a great night and an honour to be part of it. Good Luck and Happy Tabling to Steve, Paul, Richard, Matt and Cliff (Clive).
